Md. Refat Hossen

Md. Refat Hossen is the Managing Director (Current Charge) and Company Secretary of Islami Bank Securities Limited (IBSL), a sister concern of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC (IBBPLC), the largest private bank in the country. He has been serving as Managing Director (CC) since 15 October 2025, and earlier held the position of Managing Director & CEO (CC) from 31 October 2023 to 05 November 2024.

Mr. Hossen joined Islami Bank Securities Limited in December 2010 as Principal Officer and has since held various leadership roles including Head of Internal Control and Compliance Division and Head of Human Resources Division. In 2019, he was promoted to Senior Principal Officer (SPO) & Company Secretary, in 2022 to First Assistant Vice President (FAVP) & Company Secretary, and in 2025 to Assistant Vice President (AVP) & Company Secretary. He possesses more than 14 years of comprehensive experience in the Investment Banking Sector. Before joining IBSL, he worked at Mutual Trust Bank (MTB) Securities as Officer & Head of Branch, and at Mona Financial Consultancy & Securities Limited (MFCSL) as Senior Executive.

Born in 1979 in Bhola District, Bangladesh, in a noble Muslim family, Mr. Hossen holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Daffodil International University (DIU) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Capital Market (PGDCM) from Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market (BICM). He also holds a global credential, the Chartered Global Investment Analyst (CGIA) from the CGIA Institute, USA.

Md. Maniruzzaman

Md. Maniruzzaman is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the Bangladesh Capital Market. He is currently serving as the Head of Business at Islami Bank Securities Limited, where he previously held the position of Head of Accounts. Mr. Maniruzzaman holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and an MBA from a reputed university, equipping him with a strong academic foundation in business and finance. His career began in 2004 as an Accounts Executive at Mona Financial Consultancy and Securities Limited, where he gained valuable early experience in the financial sector. He later joined the Brokerage House of NCC Bank Limited as an Assistant Officer, specializing in accounting activities. Throughout his career, Mr. Maniruzzaman has demonstrated exceptional skills in supporting, encouraging, and motivating colleagues and investors. He has an impressive track record of generating new business and fostering growth in the capital market. To stay ahead in the industry, he has actively participated in numerous seminars and training programs related to the capital market, further enhancing his expertise and staying aligned with industry best practices. .

Md. Motiur Rahman

Md. Motiur Rahman is a seasoned professional with an MBA and BBA in Management from the University of Rajshahi. Backed by a strong academic foundation in business administration, he has built a distinguished career of nearly two decades across banking, financial services, and capital markets. He has been serving as the Head of HR & Internal Control and Compliance at Islami Bank Securities Limited (IBSL)—a subsidiary of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC—since 2019. Mr. Rahman originally joined IBSL as a Senior Officer in November 2010.With more than 20 years of diverse professional experience, he has developed deep expertise in regulatory compliance, human resource development, internal control frameworks, and strategic policy formulation. His career began at BRAC Bank Limited, followed by a significant tenure at Trust Bank Investment Limited, where he gained substantial exposure to investment management, corporate governance, and financial oversight. Mr. Motiur Rahman has played a pivotal role in strengthening HR policies, enhancing internal compliance structures, and improving operational efficiency at IBSL. Saud Mirza

Saud Mirza is a dedicated IT professional with 17 years of experience at Islami Bank Securities Limited (IBSL), a subsidiary of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC (IBBPLC). As the Head of IT, he has played a critical role in establishing and maintaining the Technological backbone of the organization. With extensive expertise in IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, System Integration, and Digital innovation, Mr. Mirza has been instrumental in aligning IBSL’s technology framework with evolving regulatory standards and business needs. His long-standing service reflects a deep commitment to operational efficiency, Data Security, and client-centric digital transformation. Under his leadership, IBSL has significantly advanced in automating core processes, enhancing IT governance, and ensuring robust system reliability across all branches.
